2015 Shell Houston Open in the Record Books

The 2015 Shell Houston Open was an exciting one. It ended with a three way tie (Holmes, Wagner and Spieth at 16 under par) causing a playoff from the 18th tee box. That three-way playoff resulted in a second playoff from the 18th between J.B. Holmes and former Shell Houston Open Champion, Johnson Wagner. J.B. Holmes came out on top and will be featured in the 2016 tournament literature. At that time, Nelson & Co. will be celebrating its 12th year serving the Houston Golf Association with tournament literature, web and print graphics. “It’s a year-long effort” stated Damien Nelson of N&C. “We start by shooting venue photography during the tournament and immediately begin employing those images in the shellhoustonopen.com website, then we begin working with the HGA Communications Director to develop sales literature, souvenir programs, signage, pairings guides and a host of other print pieces. We love doing this work and are grateful for the relationship.”

Nelson & Co. is a Sugar Land, Texas based graphic design firm serving the Greater Houston area with turn-key print and web design projects coupled with smart web marketing practices since 2002 and is proud to be listed in the Houston Business Journal’s Book of Lists as a Top 25 Graphic Design Firm serving corporate, mid-sized and even start-up businesses alike with powerful branding and marketing tools.
