Case Study - Central Bank

THE CHALLENGE

Central Bank is a Houston based community bank founded in 1956 with four locations spread throughout the Houston area (Midtown, Post Oak, Heights, and West Houston). In 2005, they sought N&C’s expertise to help develop a brand image that reflected the bank’s commitment to the region it served.

Positioning the company as “Houston’s bank,” N&C rolled out a package of standardized graphic elements featuring images of Houston area landmarks. The organization evolved over time and recognized that it was necessary to proactively update their brand identity to reflect their changing business.

The Evolution

In 2016, N&C updated the original design to feature a new color palette and design elements. This fresh, new look drove the production of a new collection of printed collateral. It also triggered the development of a revised Purpose Statement that would both unify staff behind a common philosophy and fuel future marketing and business activities.

THE CREATIVE

While the project began as a simple Brand Identity Package, it has grown to include a large library of graphic design, print and promotional projects.

N&C continues to support Central Bank brand and identity initiatives and is very proud of the long-standing association.
